The Society of Trauma Nurses is a licensed continuing education provider in the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Provider No. CEP 11062 . The Society follows the laws and regulations covering providers of continuing educational programs of the California Board of Registered Nursing.

The Society offers approved CEUs for all STN-sponsored offerings and activities including the Annual Trauma Nursing Conference and Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses, Trauma Outcomes & Performance Improvement Course and Journal of Trauma Nursing CEs.

The Society may enter into an agreement to consider providing continuing education credits for educational programs presented by other nursing organizations, national professional organizations, Local, State or Regional Trauma System Authorities, hospitals, or industry. Programs must meet the following criteria:

• related to the scientific knowledge or technical skills required for the practice of nursing, or
• related to direct and/or indirect patient/client care and
• related to trauma care, trauma program management, trauma system development, trauma performance improvement, injury prevention and other trauma-related topics
• the course was developed for nursing continuing education purposes
