Leadership.  It’s the backbone of every professional association.  The role of a Board of Directors is to define, protect and advance the mission* of the organization. If you want to move into a leadership role with the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) – read on!

Elections for officers and directors-at-large of the STN Board of Directors are held in the fall with the terms commencing in January. Please click here or review the attached material for further information about eligibility, responsibilities and expectations. Positions available beginning January 1, 2009, are:

President-elect

Secretary

Director-At-Large (Three positions)

International Director-At-Large (One position)

If you are interested in applying for a position: 

• Submit your nomination form along with a CV by Tuesday, October 7, 2008. 
• The STN Nominating Committee will review nominations and present a slate to the Board of Directors for approval. 
• Information will be posted on the STN Web site and members will have the opportunity to vote online between November 1 and November 30, 2008.
