National Trauma Awareness Month 2011

The Society of Trauma Nurses teamed up with the American Trauma Society (ATS) and the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) to develop resources for trauma care providers for National Trauma Awareness Month. Falls were consistently identified as the number one mechanism of injury; therefore, the group selected fall prevention as the 2011 National Trauma Awareness campaign theme. Please see below for a list of materials we encourage you to use at your institution and in your community not just during Trauma Awareness Month but throughout the entire year.
