Shepherd Center Tour

Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research and rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, spine and chronic pain, and other neuromuscular conditions. Founded in 1975, Shepherd Center is ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top 10 rehabilitation hospitals in the nation.

In partnership with Society of Trauma Nurses, Shepherd Center is offering pre-conference tours on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

Society of Trauma Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

In order to successfully complete CE, participants must complete the following steps:
  1. Sign in at the registration desk upon check-in.
  2. Scan name badge during each session and attend the entire session.
  3. Complete the evaluations sent via email.
  4. Certificates can be downloaded online.
Poster Presentations – STN offers the opportunity to earn optional CE contact hours for viewing poster presentations. In addition to the steps above, participants should:
  • Complete the paper evaluations available at the session for each poster viewed during the session.
  • Return the completed evaluations to the registration desk.
  • Indicate the number of poster presentations viewed on the electronic evaluation for the poster viewing session.
