Trauma Center Leaders Needed for Vanderbilt University Study

September 1, 2020

As a leader at your trauma center, you may have received a post-card and paper survey regarding trauma patient transitions. The survey is part of a student dissertation at Vanderbilt University. This study will explore important factors dedicated to trauma patients as they deescalate in care, transitioning from critical care to the ward/floor.

Transitions are vulnerable events for patients. This study aims to describe the variables at level one and two trauma centers. It will associate what transition variables are associated with high reliability trauma centers. The survey will take about 25 minutes to complete; participation is voluntary.

If you would like to request access to the survey, or if you have any questions about the study, please contact the study PI: Your contribution is highly valued. Thank you for your time and your commitment to quality care delivery.

Best regards,
