Nominations Now Open for BCEN Distinguished Emergency Nurse Awards & National Certification Champion Awards for Organizations

Annual National Awards Will Honor Top Certified Emergency & Pediatric Emergency Nurses Plus Three Organizations Supporting Emergency, Trauma and/or Transport Nurse Certification
 
WHAT: With its annual, national Distinguished Awards and National Certification Champion Awards, the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) recognizes top board certified nurses in each emergency nursing specialty and their employers for their outstanding commitment to board certified nursing excellence across the emergency spectrum—including emergency, pediatric emergency, trauma and transport care.
 
Nominations are now being accepted for the following BCEN Awards:
  One national winner for each award or award category will be selected.
 
WHO: The following nurses and organizations are eligible to be nominated or self-nominate:
  • Nurses holding the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) are eligible for the respective Distinguished Award.
  • Hospitals, EDs, trauma programs, critical care ground transport and flight bases or programs, and health systems are eligible to submit for the National Certification Champion Awards based on the criteria for each of the award categories.
WHEN: Nominations will be accepted through Monday, May 3, 2021 by 11:59 pm CDT.
