Annual Conference: The Society's annual educational conference, Trauma Nursing: Critical Issues is designed for all nurses interested in the area of trauma nursing. The format is didactic, panel presentations and workshops focusing on areas of special concern and interest to those practicing in a trauma center setting.

ATCN: Advanced Trauma Care for NursesĀ® is an advanced course designed for the registered nurse who is interested in increasing his/her knowledge in management of the multiple trauma patient. The ATCN course is taught concurrently with ATLS. The ATCN program is currently being offered in numerous states and internationally. Current course offerings and a sample schedule of the Provider Course are available.

TOPIC: Trauma Outcomes & Performance Improvement Course is taught in a one-day interactive Modular Format, customized to best meet the needs of the individual trauma care provider participants who have varying levels of experience with trauma performance improvement. The course offers practical application for all levels of trauma centers. A list of courses currently scheduled and on-line registration for STN-sponsored courses are available.

Continuing Education: The Society offers continuing education for nurses in the area of trauma nursing through sponsorship of educational programs and through joint-sponsorship arrangements with other organizations. The Society of Trauma Nurses is a licensed continuing education provider in the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Provider No. CEP 11062 . The Society follows the laws and regulations covering providers of continuing educational programs of the California Board of Registered Nursing

Journal CE: Selected articles from the Journal of Trauma Nursing and other publications have been recognized for their importance in providing continuing trauma education for nurses. For these articles there are Continuing Education tests which may be taken for one hour credit.
