Building Resiliency in the Level I Pediatric Trauma Center

This webinar will provide a description of how the implementation of Peer Support in one Level I Pediatric Trauma Center is contributing to staff resiliency. Stress illness and injury will be differentiated using the Stress Continuum Model. The Stress First Aid framework will be described as the foundation for a peer support structure. Various outcome measures that may identify resiliency will be reviewed.

  • Strategies to mitigate the stress of working in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
  • The implementation of Peer Support Teams in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
  • The Stress First Aid framework
  • Potential outcome measures associated with resiliency
