Committee Description
The STN Pediatric Trauma Steering Committee is committed to advancing the mission and vision of the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) by fostering collaboration among members. The committee focuses on promoting education, providing support, and offering essential tools and resources to ensure optimal care for injured children and their families.
Requirements to Serve:
- Must be an STN member in good standing.
- Available for a one-hour monthly teleconference and the ability to allocate additional time as needed toward assigned projects.
- Committed individual with the passion to promote knowledge sharing and education in caring for the injured pediatric patient across the continuum of care.
Rules and Expectations of Committee Members
- 50% attendance rate for committee members to meetings
- Member term is for 2 years up to 3 consecutive terms
- Committee Chair term limit is 2 years

- CV or bio sketch that is forwarded to committee members for review and determination based on appointment process
